Changelog
What changed.
Changes that matter to a store owner, newest first. Everything here happened before the apps reached the Shopify App Store, so it is all marked pre-release.
Not in the App Store yet. The first entry after launch will say so. Email me if you want to hear when that happens.

Pre-release
Wayfind joins this site, plus a data processing agreement
- Wayfind, my product finder quiz, now has its own page and setup guide here. It uses the same two plans. On the free plan an order counts when its cart carries a quiz result from the last 7 days. Its customer data requests are in Studio under Leads.
- A short data processing agreement now sits next to the terms of service. It sets out how I handle your customers' data on your behalf, and accepting the terms includes it.
- The NextBatch privacy policy now says how long data request files and the staff access log are kept, the same as the other apps.

Privacy tools, lighter storefront scripts, and this site
- When a customer asks you for their data, each app builds a file you download from Studio and send on. PerkJar keeps it under Members, RallyCrew under Program and NextBatch under Subscribers.
- When a customer asks to be erased, each app now removes everything it holds about that person.
- Studio keeps a private log of who viewed or exported customer data, kept for 180 days.
- Storefront scripts are split into smaller files, each under 10 KB. PerkJar loads its rewards panel only when a shopper opens it.
- NextBatch's subscriptions page in customer accounts always talks to the right app server.
- NextBatch asks for one less permission. It no longer requests access to customers' payment methods, which it never used.
- The apps moved to their own addresses on shoplyft.online, and this website went up.

Pre-release
Tested inside a real store's theme
- Every storefront piece went into a draft copy of a live store's theme to check it fits a real design: the PerkJar launcher, referral banner and product points, the RallyCrew link tracker and apply card, and the NextBatch picker and subscriptions link. The first round was on September 20, and this one used the store's current theme.

Pre-release
Running on real servers, with hourly jobs
- The apps moved onto hosted servers and were installed on a development store and on a live store.
- Each app now runs a scheduled job every hour. NextBatch uses it to bill renewals on time. Every app uses it to check that no counted order was missed on your Shopify bill.
- Fixed a rare clash when two requests arrived at the same moment during the first install.

Pre-release
First working versions
- PerkJar (points and referrals), RallyCrew (creator codes) and NextBatch (subscriptions), each with Home, Settings and Billing pages in Shopify admin and a full-screen Studio.
- The two plans: $0 a month plus 1% of proven sales, or $29 a month flat. Every counted order is listed on the Billing page, and refunds reverse the fee.
- Theme blocks and app embeds for each app, with no theme code to edit.
- RallyCrew's storefront pieces got a layout fix for small screens.
